Bulletin update 05/10/25
Tom Atherton & Murray Whitehead gained the required 17 pins each against all comers yesterday to get their names engraved onto the Yorkshire Cup for left & right arm respectively. The 37 entrants pulled 334 matches in total. Progression through the ranks is happening fast. 4 people have been added to the Pro Status list having demonstrated through performance that they are no longer Novices: Dan Sheppard, Mason Kuhlmann, Shazad Ata & Waleed Maqsood. Well done. There were some epic battles & I am excited for the next year's warzone series. Special thanks to referees Keith Taylor, Dan Hanlon, Oli Williams, Thomas Lilley, Tom Atherton & scorer Maria who worked hard to keep the action going. Spalding in Lincolnshire is the next stop on the road where the giant HIGHTOWER is hosting a seminar with similarly large superstar Alex Kurdecha the week after (Friday evening). Hightower tells me there are going to be a few supermatches. I've put the poster & details on the www.paa-armwrestling.com/events - contact HIGHTOWER (WOJTEK JABLEKI) direct on Facebook for more details. Over 80 people have made online entries for Novice Nationals. Ascertaining eligibility for entries remains the challenge - are they old enough? are they really a novice & resident for over 5 years? Formatting problems have occurred since WIX updated their platform - everything has to be done twice - once for the PC & then for mobile version. Still some images are jumbled or resized differently when viewed & I don't know why. I have made some corrections, but there is a lot to update once Nationals are done with. Visit www.paa-armwrestling.com/nationals Only a few days left for IFA Worlds Entries. Those who want to join our two heroes out in Baku need to be swift & visit www.paa-armwrestling.com/worldsteam quickly. THANKS TO THE CLUB CAPTAINS of Swindon, Rossendale, Sussex, Birmingham Bullets, 1066 Vikings, Northern Ireland, Welsh Warriors, Newcastle, Bulks, Leeds, Over the Taff, Grizzley Grip, OMR Armwrestling, Kernow, Odins, Leigh Pulling Power, Borough Berzerkers, Black Sheep Armwrestling, Elite Arm Assassins, North Coast Armwrestling, Damage Garage, Leviathan, Liverpool Armwrestling, Buckley & Steelstrength who provided the names of their novices so we can add new people onto the list. Unlisted pullers will not be pulling. If you are new to your club, make sure your captain has included you on the list. The list will be printed on the TUESDAY (not THURSDAY as previously stated) before the Novice Nationals weigh in. Thereafter you ain't pulling unless accompanied by your team captain at the weigh in to confirm you are safe to do so. 65 people have registered online so they only have to confirm their weight & pay cash if they didn't do it by paypal. If you are heavier than what you put down for expected weight class on the form it doesn't matter to us. We'll just move your name onto the other list, or if you are early enough you can carry someone heavy around the car park & lose a few pounds before weigh ins close. Some on the pre entry list (which I update each week) say they are from clubs who have not yet confirmed who they are - if we haven't got you on the list of novices that we've seen before or newly provided by the club captain you won't be pulling. "It's 'elf n safety mate, we gotta take reasonable care to stop random walk in's getting their arms ripped off by gorillas who've been training to win the Novices for the last 4 years." ARMGODS Ultimate Armwrestler 16 & 17 are scheduled in the next few weeks. Have a look at www.armgods.com to keep up with the action or download the app. See you down the road.

Hey Hollie! I know Dan posted this as well but I wanted to give it a like!
